In addition to running fishing charters, I also offer consulting trips. What I mean by that is I will get on your boat and teach you how to fish, boat handling techniques, docking etc. all on your boat. This is perfect for someone who has never fished before, is new to the area, or just got a boat for the first time.
I will go over everything, including:
Basic boat operation and maintenance
Proper tackle set up for different types of fish and styles of fishing
What types of lures/ bait to use, and where to use it
How to properly dock your boat, or put your boat on a lift
How to operate your GPS and Bottom machine
What to look for on your bottom machine when in search of bottom fishing spots
Fish cleaning and how to clean different types of fish
How to anchor your boat
How to properly rig your boat/ optimize your boat layout
What areas hold which types of fish during different seasons
and most importantly.......How to catch fish!
This will save you a lot of time, money, and headache in the long run. You will finally have everything simplified for you. This is a hands on experience, so you will be able to see what you are doing wrong and how to correct it. The fee for a consultation is $75 per hour. Price does not include: bait, ice, etc. However, those items can be provided for you at your request for an additional fee.
